इसके अनुप्रयोग निम्नलिखित है:-
1:- tree एक non-linear डेटा स्ट्रक्चर है इसलिए इसका प्रयोग information को non-linear तरीके से store करने के लिए किया जाता है.
उदाहरण के लिए:- कंप्यूटर में file system.
2:- अगर हम keys को tree के form में organise करते है तो हम किसी दी हुई key को जल्दी search कर सकते है.
3:- heap एक tree data structure है जिसका प्रयोग queues को implement करने के लिए किया जाता है.
4:- B-tree तथा B +tree का प्रयोग database में indexing को implement करने के लिए किया जाता है.
5:- syntax tree का प्रयोग compilers में किया जाता है.
6:- suffix tree का use किसी fixed text में pattern को जल्दी से search करने के लिए किया जाता है.
7:- HTML document object model एक tree है जिसमें सभी html text, attributes स्टोर रहते है.
8:- networking routing में इसका use होता है.
9:- auto correcter तथा spell checker के लिए इसका use होता है.
10:- artificial intelligence में.
11:- games में.
12:- hash trees का प्रयोग image signature के लिए किया जाता है.
13:- huffman coding tree का प्रयोग compression algorithms जैसे:- .jpeg तथा mp3 file format में किया जाता है.
14:- GGM trees का प्रयोग cryptographic applications में pseudo random numbers को जनरेट करने के लिए किया जाता है.
