Instruction cycle in hindi

instruction cycle को fetch-decode-execute-cycle भी कहते है. यह कंप्यूटर की operational process है. यह प्रोसेस कंप्यूटर के start होने से shut down होने तक CPU के द्वारा लगातार repeat होती है.

CPU एक के बाद एक instructions को execute करता है. एक instruction के execute होने में बहुत सारें phases होते है. और CPU प्रत्येक instruction के लिए इन phases को repeat करते रहता है.

इसके निम्नलिखित phases होते है:-

1. Memory से instruction को fetch करना.
2. instruction को decode करना.
3. memory से effective address को read करना.
4. instruction को execute करना.

नीचे आपको चित्र दिया गया है. जिससे आप समझ सकते है:-

1:- instruction को fetch करना :-

instruction को memory address से fetch किया जाता है जो कि PC (program counter) तथा instruction register (IR) में store रहता है. और जब fetch operation खत्म हो जाता है तो PC दूसरे instruction को execute करने के लिए point करता है.

2:- instruction को decode करना:-

इस phase में, instruction register (IR) में उपस्थित encoded instruction को decoder के द्वारा interpret किया जाता है.

3:- effective address को read करना:-

यदि, instruction का एक indirect address होता है तो effective address को memory से read कर लिया जाता है. और अन्य जरुरी data को main memory से fetch कर लिया जाता है.

और यदि इंस्ट्रक्शन direct होता है तो operands को direct ही read कर लिया जाता है.

4:- instruction को execute करना:-

इस phase में, कंट्रोल यूनिट decode की हुई information को control signals के रूप में CPU के functional unit को भेजती है. इसके बाद CPU इंस्ट्रक्शन की जरूरत के आधार पर task को पूरा करता है. जैसे कि- register से values को read करना आदि.

इस task को पूरा करने पर जो भी result आता है वह main memory में store हो जाता है या फिर output device को भेज दिया जाता है.

इन phases को पूरा करने के बाद cycle फिर से अगले instruction को fetch करती है. इस प्रकार instruction cycle लगातार repeat होते रहती है.
