Interrupt in hindi

interrupt एक condition होती है जिसके कारण processor को कुछ समय के लिए दूसरा task करना पड़ता है और जब वह task पूरा हो जाता है तो वह वापस अपने पहले वाले task को execute करता है.

दूसरे शब्दों में कहें तो, “interrupt, प्रोसेसर के लिए एक signal होता है जो hardware या software के द्वारा उत्पन्न होता है. यह एक event को indicate करता है जिसे जल्द से जल्द solve करना होता है.”

जब processor के द्वारा कोई प्रोसेस execute होती है और user दूसरी प्रोसेस को execute करने के लिए request करता है तब जो running process होती है उसमें रुकावट उत्पन्न होती है. इसे interrupt कह सकते है. जैसे कि- mouse से click करने पर, cursor को drag करने पर, document को print करने पर आदि से interrupt उत्पन्न हो सकता है.

processor और peripheral devices के मध्य data का ट्रान्सफर प्रोसेसर के द्वारा होता है. परन्तु प्रोसेसर तब तक transfer को शुरू नही कर सकता जब तक कि peripheral डिवाइस प्रोसेसर से communicate करने के लिए ready नहीं हो जाती. और जब peripheral device प्रोसेसर से communicate करने के लिए ready हो जाती है तो वह एक interrupt signal को generate करती है.

जितने भी input-output device कंप्यूटर से जुडी रहती है वो सभी interrupt request को generate कर सकती है.

interrupt system का मुख्य कार्य interrupt के source को identify करना होता है. यह भी हो सकता है कि बहुत सारी devices एक समय में एक साथ processor से communicate करने की request करें. तब interrupt system को यह decide करना होता है कि किस device को पहले service प्रदान की जाए.

interrupts जो है वह hardware, software, users और कुछ error conditions के द्वारा generate हो जाते है. परन्तु processor को सारें interrupts को सावधानी से handle करना पड़ता है. और interrupt को handle करने के लिए यह fetch, decode और execute operations को run करता है.

types of interrupt in hindi

इसके मुख्यतया दो प्रकार होते है:-

1. hardware interrupts
2. software interrupts

Hardware interrupt in hindi

जब processor को कोई सिग्नल external device या hardware से प्राप्त होता है तब यह interrupt, Hardware interrupt कहलाता है.

एक example लेते है:- जब हम कोई कार्य करने के लिए keyboard पर कोई key दबाते है तो key के दबाने से एक interrupt signal उत्पन्न होता है. यह signal प्रोसेसर को कुछ task पूरा के लिए कहता है.

hardware interrupts दो प्रकार के होते है.:-

1. maskable interrupts

   इस प्रकार के interrupts को processor के द्वारा ignore या delay कर दिया जाता है जब इससे highest priority interrupts हुआ होता है तो.

2. non-maskable interrupts
   

   इस प्रकार के interrupts को प्रोसेसर के द्वारा ignore या delay नही किया जा सकता. और इसे तुरंत process करना पड़ता है.

software interrupts in hindi

वह interrupt जो कंप्यूटर के internal system के द्वारा हुआ होता है उसे software interrupts कहते है. ये भी दो प्रकार के होते है:-

1. normal interrupts

वे interrupts जो software instructions के द्वारा हुए होते है उन्हें normal इंटरप्ट कहते है.

2. exception

program को execute करते समय होने वाले interrupts को exception कहते है. उदाहरण के लिए:- program को execute करते समय यदि हमें कोई ऐसी value प्राप्त होती है जो zero से divide होती है तो इसे exception कहते है.

priority interrupts in hindi

priority interrupt एक सिस्टम होता है जो यह decide करता है कि जिन devices ने एक समय में interrupt signal जनरेट किया था. उनमें से किसे पहले priority दी जाये. अर्थात् किसे पहले processor के द्वारा प्रोसेस किया जाएगा.

सामन्यतया जिन devices की speed अधिक होती है उन्हें high priority दी जाती है जैसे कि- magnetic disks. और जिन devices कि speed कम होती है उन्हें low priority दी जाती है जैसे कि- keyboard.

advantage of interrupts in hindi

इसके लाभ निम्नलिखित है:-

1:- यह processor की efficiency (दक्षता) को बढ़ा देता है.

2:- यह processor के waiting time को घटा देता है.

3:- instruction cycle के wastage को रोक देता है.

disadvantage

processor को interrupts को handle करने में बहुत सारा काम करना पड़ता है. और पिछले programs को resume करना पड़ता है.
