UPSC Exam की शुरुआत Syllabus समझने से क्यों करें?

UPSC को दुनिया की सबसे tough competitive exams में गिना जाता है। यह exam केवल knowledge नहीं बल्कि आपकी clarity, understanding, time management, writing skills और logical thinking को भी test करता है।

UPSC Exam Pattern 2025 – तीन चरणों में परीक्षा

UPSC Civil Services Exam तीन stages में होती है:

  1. Prelims (Objective Type)
  2. Mains (Descriptive – लिखित परीक्षा)
  3. Interview / Personality Test

नीचे हम एक-एक stage का syllabus और structure detail में समझते हैं।

1. UPSC Prelims Syllabus in Hindi

Prelims सिर्फ qualifying exam है, लेकिन इसे lightly नहीं लेना चाहिए।
Prelims में दो papers होते हैं:

Paper-1: General Studies (GS-1)

  • Indian History
  • Indian National Movement
  • Indian Geography – Physical, Social & Economic
  • Indian Polity and Governance (संविधान, Political System, Panchayati Raj, Rights Issues)
  • Economic & Social Development
  • Environment, Ecology, Biodiversity
  • General Science
  • Current Affairs (National + International)

यह scoring paper है और final merit में indirectly affect करता है क्योंकि यह Mains cutoff decide करता है।

Paper-2: CSAT (Qualifying Paper)

इसमें कम से कम 33% marks लाना जरूरी है।

Syllabus में शामिल हैं:

  • Comprehension
  • Logical Reasoning & Analytical Ability
  • Decision Making
  • Data Interpretation
  • Basic Numeracy
  • Maths (10th level तक)
  • Interpersonal Skills
  • Problem Solving

2. UPSC Mains Syllabus in Hindi (Detailed)

UPSC Mains में कुल 9 papers होते हैं, जिनमें से 7 papers merit में शामिल होते हैं।

Paper-A – भाषा (Indian Language) – Qualifying

Paper-B – English Language – Qualifying

इन दोनों में सिर्फ पास होना होता है। Marks merit में नहीं जुड़ते।

7 Merit-Based Papers

1. Essay Paper

दो sections में विभिन्न topics पर 1000–1200 words के essays लिखने होते हैं।
UPSC ऐसे topics चुनता है जो आपकी सोच, analysis और writing skills जांचें।

General Studies Papers (GS-1, GS-2, GS-3, GS-4)

GS-1: Indian Heritage & Culture, History & Geography

  • Globalization Impact
  • World History
  • Geography – Physical, Human, Urbanization

GS-2: Governance, Constitution, Social Justice & International Relations

  • Parliament, Judiciary
  • Welfare Schemes
  • NGO, SHG
  • Education, Health Policies
  • International Relations (India’s Relations with World)

GS-3: Economy, Science & Tech, Environment, Security

Topics:

  • Indian Economy
  • Agriculture
  • Banking, Budget, Inclusive Growth
  • Science & Technology
  • Disaster Management
  • Biodiversity, Environment
  • Internal Security

GS-4: Ethics, Integrity & Aptitude

Topics:

  • Ethics Theory
  • Emotional Intelligence

यह paper आपकी honesty, practicality और administrative thinking को test करता है।

Optional Subject – दो पेपर (Paper-VI & Paper-VII)

Optional subject UPSC Mains का सबसे scoring हिस्सा है।
यहां आप अपनी interest के हिसाब से एक subject चुनते हैं।

हर paper 250 marks का होता है यानी optional से कुल 500 marks।

3. UPSC Interview (Personality Test)

इस final चरण में आपकी personality, confidence, honesty, communication skills, social awareness, attitude, decision-making power और positive approach का test होता है।

Interview के 275 marks होते हैं।
