Percentage क्या है?
Percentage का मतलब होता है “Per Hundred”, यानी 100 में से कितना।
Example के लिए – अगर किसी Class में 100 Students हैं और 40 Students पास हैं, तो Pass Percentage होगी:- 40 Percent
Percentage का Symbol Percent होता है, लेकिन Calculation हमेशा 100 के Base पर की जाती है।
Percentage के Basic Formula
Percentage Questions को Solve करने के लिए कुछ Basic Formula याद रखना बहुत जरूरी है।
Percentage निकालने का Formula
Value ÷ Total Value × 100
Example – 50 Students में से 20 Students लड़कियां हैं
Percentage = 20 ÷ 50 × 100 = 40 Percent
किसी संख्या का Percentage निकालना
अगर Question में दिया हो
25 Percent of 200
तो Solution होगा
200 × 25 ÷ 100 = 50
Percentage Increase और Decrease
Exams में सबसे ज्यादा Questions Increase और Decrease से आते हैं।
Percentage Increase Formula
Increase ÷ Original Value × 100
Example –
किसी वस्तु की Price 100 से बढ़कर 120 हो गई
Increase = 20
Percentage Increase = 20 ÷ 100 × 100 = 20 Percent
Percentage Decrease Formula
Decrease ÷ Original Value × 100
Example – अगर किसी Product की Price 500 से घटकर 400 हो जाए
Decrease = 100
Percentage Decrease = 100 ÷ 500 × 100 = 20 Percent
Percentage Questions के Important Types
Competitive Exams में Percentage से जुड़े Questions कुछ Fixed Pattern में पूछे जाते हैं।
1. Simple Percentage Questions
इस Type में सीधे Calculation होती है।

30 Percent of 150 कितना है
2. Percentage Increase Decrease Questions
